Blow Up The City Controls: What the Game Does Not Publish

This game publishes no control list at all, which is unusual for Roblox and is the honest answer to the question. Here is what is documented, what is standard platform behaviour, and what we will not print.

The honest answer: there is no published list

Most Roblox games publish a control list on their store page, usually as a short block of keys and what they do. Blow Up The City does not. Its description runs from the core loop line, through an update list, to a private server offer and a request to report bugs, and in all of that it names no key, no button and no input method.

That makes this page different from the controls page on a typical game wiki, and it is worth saying so plainly at the top rather than burying it. We are not withholding a list. There is no list in anything the developer has published, and the game's official images contain no interface at all: no on-screen buttons, no crosshair, no counter, no menu.

What the platform provides by default

Every Roblox experience starts from the same player controller, which Roblox supplies: movement keys on a keyboard, mouse look, a jump input, and a touch layout on phones and tablets that puts movement and camera under the thumbs. A developer can override parts of that, add their own actions, or leave it alone entirely.

We have not confirmed which parts this game keeps, so treat the paragraph above as the floor rather than as a description of this game. What it does tell you is that a first session will not be unplayable, because the platform's own movement and camera are there before any developer code runs. What it does not tell you is which button calls in an airstrike, how you aim one, or whether there is a way to do either of those things without a mouse.

Does it work on a phone?

Roblox runs one set of servers for every device, so a player on a phone and a player on a PC are usually in the same world. The platforms this site lists are the publication defaults for a Roblox experience rather than a device list we read ourselves: Roblox serves a game's enabled-device field only to a signed-in reader, and our request for it returned an authentication error rather than a list.

The developer's description does not mention a device either way, which is neither evidence for nor against a mobile build. What we can say is that another page on this site covers the platform question directly, and it carries the same hedge this one does.

Console and VR

We have found no statement about a console version or a VR mode. Roblox allows a developer to enable those, and a large share of games never do, so the absence of a claim is weak evidence in both directions. It is not something we will upgrade into an answer.

The device list would settle it in one request, and it is behind a sign-in we have not done. Until then this section exists mainly to record that the question was asked and that the check came back empty rather than positive.

Why we will not print an unverified key list

The temptation with a page like this is to describe the control scheme of a similar game and let a reader assume it transfers. Roblox destruction games do resemble each other in genre, and a plausible key list is easy to produce. It would also be the single most checkable claim on this site, and it would be wrong the moment the developer changes an input or the platform changes a default.

A wrong control list wastes five minutes for every reader. No list costs a new player two minutes of experimentation and nothing else. We will publish one the moment there is a source for it, and the source we would prefer is the developer's own store page rather than our inference from another game.

What the update list implies about the input surface

The developer never lists a control, and the update list still says something about what inputs must exist. Targeted strikes imply a way to choose a target. An aircraft implies either a way to fly it or a way to call it. A train implies a world object that moves whether or not anybody interacts with it. None of that tells us which key does what, and all of it tells us that the game cannot be played with movement and jumping alone.

That is an inference from content rather than from an interface, and we are labelling it. It is also the reason we expect a control list to appear in the description one day: this is a game that will eventually have to explain itself to new players, and the description is currently the only place it could do so.

What we have not checked

We have not played the game on any device, so we cannot describe what the interface looks like, whether there is a touch layout, whether the game supports a controller, or whether the camera behaves differently on a phone. We have not read the developer's group posts, which is where a control change would most likely be announced. And we have not been able to read the game's own device field, because Roblox requires a signed-in request for it, so even the platform question above rests on the publication default rather than on a reading.

Frequently asked

What are the controls in Blow Up The City?

The game publishes no control list. Its description names no keys, and no official image shows an interface, so the only controls we can describe are the platform defaults rather than this game's own.

Does Blow Up The City work on mobile?

We list PC and mobile on this site as the publication defaults for a Roblox experience rather than as a device list we read. Roblox serves the game's own device list only to a signed-in reader, so we have not verified it.

Is Blow Up The City on console or VR?

Unconfirmed. Nothing the developer has published mentions a console or a VR build, and we have not been able to read the game's device list to rule either out.
