Blow Up The City game passes: a correction, and four mechanics the pass list revealed

September 10, 2026

We have corrected this site. Blow Up The City sells five game passes, from 94 to 320 Robux, read from Roblox's game-pass list on 10 September 2026, and several pages here previously stated that it sold none. The old claim rested on a request to games.roblox.com/v1/games/10742019356/game-passes, which answered HTTP 404. We read that 404, wrongly, as an answer about the game, and described it in print as a successful response reporting nothing rather than a failed request, which is the sentence that turned a dead request into what looked like a verified fact. Both halves were wrong: a 404 is a failed request, and the URL fails for every game we have tried it against, including Grow a Chicken Fighter, which sells 33 passes, and Adopt Me, which sells 23.

The check that works is apis.roblox.com/game-passes/v1/universes/10742019356/game-passes with passView=Full, which returned HTTP 200 and five passes: Unlimited Cash at 320 Robux, ICBM at 199, AC-130 at 149, X2 Cash at 99 and Unlimited NPCs at 94, all on sale and none discounted. A game that sells nothing answers that same endpoint with HTTP 200 and an empty array rather than a 404, which we confirmed against a game with no passes on the same day. That difference is the whole of the mistake: we printed a failure as a finding.

The list was worth more than a correction. Four entries in it name mechanics the developer had never written about anywhere else. Unlimited NPCs means the game contains NPCs, with a limit on them worth removing. ICBM is a strike that is not the Nuke, and the developer's own copy calls it the one causing the most damage, which is the first comparative statement about any strike here. AC-130 is a gunship the player takes control of, which is the first player-controlled aircraft we can point to in this game and still says nothing about the Attack Heli. X2 Cash and Unlimited Cash both attach themselves to cash per strike, which is the number the game's economy runs on.

Two of those are the same kind of find as a badge name, which is the method this site already uses elsewhere: a mechanic leaks where a developer has to name it for a transaction, and this game has no badges at all, so the pass list is currently the only channel of that kind it has. It is now read on the same six-hourly schedule as the badge endpoint and the description.

About this entry

This entry is dated by the day we corrected the site rather than by a change to the game. Roblox reports the game's own most recent change as 9 September 2026; this entry is ours, and the update index distinguishes the two.
